Recently, I got into a conversation (if you can call a debate on Facebook that…) about the ridiculousness of the movie Paranormal Activity. One side said it was too ridiculous and therefore it was a crappy movie. The other side said that it took a concept that *could* happen (highly unlikely of course) and made an effective movie that was well edited. But isn’t this a debate over just about every movie made?

I recently came across a new brand of beer that I find absolutely tasty. Forget the big boys (Bud, Coors, etc.) for now, as those are more of the mass produced kind and all taste about the same. After a tasting at a local Harris Teeter (yes, free beer!), I am now hooked on Red Hook.

While the beer is quite tasty, I do have to go on to future things, as I am just drooling at the thought of having another, though I am at work. So, to hold me over, I’m going to print this logo out and put it around a bottle of water. It’s all in the mind, folks…

Nevermind. Just made me want one even more.

Anyways, let’s do a quick recap of the highlights for this weekend.

1. Kansas City Chiefs SUCK. There’s no other way to describe it. They are just terrible. How did we win 3 games?!? I think Jason Whitlock from the KC Star says it best: The Chiefs should thank their fans for even buying a ticket… (STORY)
2. The Washington Redskins win a game! Oh wait. It was against Oakland. That should be a .5 win and not a full win. But, if you lose to Oakland, you deserve to automatically lose 2 games. 3 if JaMarcus Russell played.
3. The Senate is trying to pass a $1.1 trillion budget. Just ignore the little bits in there for abortion funding, broken down building renovating, and I think a round of Jaeggermeister for people who actually listen to the debates this weekend instead of watching football or hockey or even some Dominican league baseball games. Why does C-SPAN exist?
4. The Princess and the Frog. I saw it. I’ll man up to it. I was there with 4 other women… Married to 1, 2 daughters, and 1 daughter’s friend. Ok. Where’s the brown baggie for my head to hide my shame in saying that I liked the movie?
5. I think somewhere along the way, Tiger had another affair. Might check to see if he broke the baker’s dozen yet. Or are we up to a cool two dozen?

That’s all I have for now, as my need for nourishment has taken hold of my body, crying out, “Food, my good man! Food!” So, I go to tame the beast. Until tomorrow, or later today, enjoy your beer for breakfast!
